Baited Black Bear hunting is offered during the month June to July 13  when animals are numerous and come easily to bait. Black bear come out of migration in late May, depending on the season and are actively feeding by the second week of June. In order to ensure successful black bear hunts we make sure all baits are active before hunters arrive. In Labrador there are two hunting seasons for Black Bear, spring (May 08- July 13 )and fall Sept 13- Nov 08), and hunters can use either rifle or bow or black powder. This year the area has seen lots of black bears and we have had a very successful Season (100 %) We have numerous bears and If you are interested in hunting a black bear than give me a call. In an effort to maintain a very high success rate year to year , we keep our groups small , maximum of 2 per hunt.
